Functional Fitness Classes

Improve mobility, balance, strength, and conditioning for your body.

This registered class will take place 1-3 times per week, depending on your choice of commitment. Kelsey, your Personal Training Specialist, will bring you through Mobility Training, Balance Work, Minor Muscle Focus, Animal Crawls, Cardio, Core, Flexibility and Strength Work, Agility Drills, and Intention / Goal Setting.

You will gain:

  • Increased Range of Motion (ROM)
  • Better Quality of Movement
  • Postural Improvement
  • Proper Form in Common Exercises
  • Symmetrical Consistency (ensuring both sides of the body are the same – strength, size, capacity, compensation, etc.)
  • Applicable Fitness (these classes help be at your best for other training modalities)

  • Fitness Education (Learn about YOU)

Each class is 75 minutes, comprised of 60 minutes mobility, balance, strength, and conditioning work with an optional, yet highly recommended 15 minute intention/reflection/gratitude meditation. You can expect small class sizes for maximum individual attention.

How it works:

You’ll start out with a $99 Fitness Assessment which includes:

  • Body Metrics (weight, measurements, composition, etc.)
  • Blood Pressure (excellent indicator of health or attention needed)
  • Resting HR and Fitness Zones
  • Posture Pictures and Review
  • Range of Motion / Balance
  • Cardio / Flexibility / Strength Maximums
  • Goal Setting
  • Health Limitations
  • PAR-Q
  • Intention Building

Every month for the duration of your program, you will attend a Fitness Assessment so you can track your progress! There is no commitment after the Fitness Assessment, but if you wish to continue, you will choose a 3-month program with a different weekly commitment level. Prices are calculated on a 4-week basis, paid on the first day of your 4-week cycle.

Tier 1

  • ($99 month 1, then $199/ month for month 2 & 3)
  • 4 classes per month
  • 1 Assessment per month
  • 1 yoga class per month

Tier 2

  • ($159 month 1, then $259/ month for month 2 & 3)
  • 8 classes per month
  • 1 Assessment per month
  • 2 yoga classes per month

Tier 3

  • ($179 month 1, then $279/ month for month 2 & 3)
  • 12 classes per month
  • 1 Assessment per month
  • 3 yoga classes per month

When you choose your commitment level, the free yoga classes will be added to your account, which you can use to book into any of our regularly scheduled classes.

For each Tier, you will pre-register your classes based on the following schedule:


6-7:15am or 5-6:15pm – Mondays
6-7:15am or 5-6:15pm – Wednesdays
6-7:15am – Thursdays
4:30-5:45pm – Fridays


7:15-8:30am Saturdays

Assessment Times

8am – Sunday
1-3:30pm – Wednesdays
2:30-4:30pm – Thursdays

Kelsey Hoople (she/her) – Personal Training Specialist

Faced with unthinkable personal and family health issues in 2017, Kelsey realized quickly the importance of preventative health; being in control of what we can control, and working to stay as mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually strong as possible throughout life.

In 2018, Kelsey became a certified Personal Training Specialist (PTS) with Canfitpro in 2018, and although she has seen her weight fluctuate based on stress, mental health, medical issues, and yo-yo methods, Functional Fitness and wellness became a solid foundation of health that has helped her maintain success—even within turbulent times. Kelsey lost 150 lbs, and though some weight has come back, she maintains a commitment to her health; learning determination, consistency, and self-love for her body in all forms and abilities. She firmly believes that it is okay to be where we are in the moment, feel off track, and then begin to believe again, and again, and again…because exercise isn’t just something we do; Functional Fitness is a lifestyle to support our whole journey.

Specialized in Pre-Natal and Postpartum Training, Kelsey is also a Yoga Nidra Meditation Instructor, a Lean Body Coach, a Field Leader for Hiking Terrain 1, and an AHS Recovery Plan Attendee. She also has many certifications on the go, including a 200-hr Yoga Instructor course, Life Coach, specialty training for 55+ and children, and the fundamentals of Power Clubs, Kettlebells, and Neurological Conditioning.

Kelsey loves staying ahead of potential problem areas by incorporating balance, mobility, posture, mind/body connection, intention, regular assessments, and positivity into her training. Based on her life policy that “Today is Day One Always”, she treats every new day with the same optimism and opportunities as the first day she started. Roll with the punches, but keep getting back up!

Due to a large number of last minute cancellations, all appointments now need to paid in full at the time of booking. If you need to reschedule your appointment, please need to do so at least 48 hours in advance. The cost of the service will be returned to your account so you can use the credit to rebook. If you need to cancel the appointment and are unable to rebook, you will receive a refund less a 10% admin fee. There are no refunds or credits if cancelled within 48 hours of the appointment.
