Physical Wellbeing
Strength, balance, stability and flexibility work together to create a human structure built to be productive throughout the work day. The Space can help you build a specific program based on the required workload and physical capacity necessary for your organization while promoting the wellbeing of your employees. This article from The Canadian Center for Occupational Health and Safety contains a really good outline of what a Workplace Health and Safety Plan can entail.
Increased Energy
Energy is created by the food we eat, the amount of water we absorb, the amount of physical exertion we do daily, proper sleep hygiene, the environment, and other influences around us. Learning to maintain this balance while also juggling a busy life is challenging. The Space can help teach about wellness, positive habits, continued self-care, and how these factors can all translate to increased energy levels and a happy byproduct of more productivity throughout your workplace. This is a great resource from The Wellbeing Thesis on the importance of taking breaks and the connection between downtime and productivity which can be driven by our energy and energetic reserves.
Improved Relationships
A well-rested, mentally restored employee can help create a mutually healthy environment at work for themselves and others. This article from Harvard Business Review provides a great overview of the benefits a positive and healthy work culture can provide.
Incentive to Work
This article from HR Performance and Results details how and why two of the main reasons for employee turnover are Benefits & Incentives and Work Environment.
